Is 'cabling' really that important? Why can prices for 'CAT' cabling vary so much?

Short answer is yes, cabling (aka Structured Cabling, CAT 5e or CAT6) is very important!
Think of it as the foundations of your network, providing reliable and speedy connectivity for IT and telephony equipment.
The prices can vary due to the quality of installation, components used, certification and warranty.

We've been doing this for a long time and are familiar with most forms of telephony.
